Chandler F. Cox, Jr. Mr. Cox serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of AMIC. He began his insurance career with General Reinsurance Corporation and moved to Birmingham in 1981 to become Underwriting Manager for a surface coal mining insurance program underwritten by American Resources Insurance Company. In 1985, Mr. Cox founded Mining Insurance Markets, Inc., a wholesale insurance broker specializing in mining accounts. He was a co-founder of American Mining Insurance Company in 1989. Mr. Cox is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a B.S. degree from the College of Commerce and Business Administration. He has also received the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.

Dominick Giovannelli. Mr. Giovannelli is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial officer of the Company.  Prior to co founding the Company in 1989, Mr. Giovannelli was Treasurer of Rockwood Insurance Company of Indiana, the predecessor of Rockwood Casualty Insurance Company. He was responsible for all of the financial reporting functions of the Company and its subsidiaries, including preparation of statutory and GAAP Financial Statements. In addition, he was Treasurer of the Pennsylvania Surface Coal Mining Insurance Exchange. Mr. Giovannelli attended Benjamin Franklin University, Washington, DC, which is now part of The George Washington University.

Bryant E. Brown. Mr. Brown is Vice President of Marketing for AMIC and is responsible for the marketing efforts of the Company. Mr. Brown has been with the Company since June 1997. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Brown spent 2 years working for Kentucky Employers Mutual Insurance Company. Prior to that, Mr. Brown worked at Energy Insurance Agency as a Vice President.

Corey L. Chambliss. Mr. Chambliss is Vice President, Information Systems at AMIC. Mr. Chambliss has been with the Company since October 1995. Mr. Chambliss is a graduate of the University of South Alabama with a B.S. degree in Computer Science.

Durbin W. Christner. Mr. Christner is Vice President, Underwriting at AMIC. Mr. Christner has been with the Company since January 1991. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Christner spent 7 years working for Rockwood Insurance Company as an underwriter.

Gregory T. Pierre, CPA. Mr. Pierre is Treasurer at AMIC. Mr. Pierre has been with the Company since June 1991. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Pierre spent 5 years working for KPMG, last serving as a Supervising Senior Accountant. Mr. Pierre is a graduate of University of South Alabama with a B.S. degree in Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the AICPA and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Theodore C. Roose. Mr. Roose is Senior Vice President, Claims at AMIC and is responsible for the claims operations of the Company. Mr. Roose has been with the Company since April 1997. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Roose spent 2 years working for Sun Employer Services as a Vice President. Prior to that, Mr. Roose worked at TPI Restaurants, Inc. as a Claims Manager. Mr. Roose is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a B.S. degree. He is a member of the Alabama Workers' Compensation Organization and Southern Association of Workers' Compensation Administrators. He has also become a Casualty Claims Law Associate and Workers' Compensation Law Associate through the American Educational Institute.

Donna C. Shenesky. Ms. Shenesky is Senior Vice President, Compliance at AMIC. Ms. Shenesky has been with the Company since March 1998. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Shenesky spent 12 years working for Crawford & Company as a supervisor and adjuster. Prior to that, Ms. Shenesky worked at Gates McDonald as an adjuster and account manager. Ms. Shenesky attended Youngstown State University. She is a member of the Alabama Self-Insurers Association and the Alabama Workers' Compensation Organization.

Ann J. Watts. Ms. Watts is a Vice President, Secretary at AMIC. She is responsible for all statistical reporting with respect to NCCI, ISO and the various rating agencies. Ms. Watts has been with the Company since June 1991. Ms. Watts is a graduate of Birmingham-Southern College with a B.S. degree in Mathematics.
